About the Role
The engineer will work within the Underground network, maintaining escalators, responding swiftly to breakdowns, and liaising directly with customers on‑site while upholding Otis values of safety, ethics, quality, innovation and employee opportunity. • Perform breakdown and repair work on all escalators in the London Underground portfolio to maintain continuous operation. • Respond quickly to breakdowns aiming for first‑time fix and manage the escalator portfolio within the network. • Liaise directly with customers on‑site to build strong working relationships. • Work 12‑hour shifts on a 4‑on/4‑off schedule (7 am – 7 pm) with overtime opportunities. • Participate in health and safety programs and an employee support programme.

What You Bring
The position is for an experienced escalator call‑out and repair engineer to join the Transport for London team, responsible for the safety and technical upkeep of the London Underground escalator portfolio. • Hold at least NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering with extensive service and maintenance experience. • Possess a valid UK driver’s licence and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime. • Demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills and proficiency with electronic/digital tools. • Communicate effectively, work independently or as part of a team, and prioritize safety.
