Safely move CHI trailers, load/unload doors, deliver loads and retrieve supplies.
Job Highlights
About the Role
Spotter teammates are responsible for the safe movement of C.H.I. trailers in and out of loading docks, delivering loads to local C.H.I. dealers, and retrieving production materials from local suppliers. The position operates Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm‑10:30 pm, with flexibility required to cover other shifts’ vacations as needed. • Read lists and perform assigned work. • Lift, stack, and pack overhead garage doors, tracks, hardware, openers, assemblies, and other materials. • Conduct regular trailer yard inspections. • Move garage doors, hardware, or related products using hands or equipment. • Report mechanical or material issues to supervisor. • Keep work area clean and safe. • Participate in Nucor’s profit‑sharing plan (≈19.88% of eligible earnings annually).

Work Environment
Field
