About the Role

What you’ll do: In this visible, hands‑on role you will lead by example to foster a proactive safety culture, build engagement, and deliver corporate EHS programs across WA and SA. You will champion EHS leadership, implement systems and project plans, deliver training, identify and reduce risks, provide safety advice, and participate in toolbox talks, audits and fatality‑prevention activities. • Champion EHS leadership by influencing, coaching, and engaging leaders and field teams. • Implement Otis EHS systems and project plans, ensuring governance, compliance and continuous improvement. • Deliver change communications and training to embed EHS standards and behaviours. • Identify and mitigate risks through targeted interventions to improve performance. • Provide expert safety advice and coaching to ensure work is completed without health or safety hazards. • Participate in toolbox talks, audits and fatality‑prevention activities, modelling best practice.

What You Bring

Why this role matters: We are seeking an experienced EH&S Specialist based in Perth, Western Australia, to partner with our operations across WA and South Australia. In this permanent position you will report to the EHS Director, Australasia, and work within the Australasia EHS Team to embed best‑practice safety throughout the region. What you will need: A Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in OHS (or related discipline) and 5–10+ years of EH&S experience in high‑risk environments such as construction, lifts, facilities management or engineering. You must have solid knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO 45001, excellent communication skills, strong influencing and stakeholder management capability, and a valid driver’s licence with a good driving record. Experience supporting geographically dispersed field teams and willingness to travel across WA and SA is an added advantage. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in OHS or a related discipline. • Possess 5–10+ years of EH&S experience in high‑risk environments such as construction, lifts, facilities management or engineering. • Demonstrate knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO 45001. • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication, influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. • Maintain a valid driver’s licence with a good driving record and be willing to travel across WA and SA. • Preferred: experience supporting geographically dispersed field teams.
