Financial Analyst - Supply Chain Strategy

About the Role

The analyst will combine business, financial, and technical expertise to develop tools for optimized supply chain management, collaborate with stakeholders on reporting needs, stay current on industry issues, and manage projects related to financial analysis and data tools. Financial analysis responsibilities include linking business processes and macroeconomic data to supply‑chain operations, unlocking insights through technology, building financial models and scenario‑planning tools, and leading a high‑performing finance team while fostering teammate development. • Develop tools for optimized supply chain management by integrating business, financial, and technical knowledge • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver solutions • Monitor industry trends to create proactive business intelligence solutions • Manage projects for financial analysis, data management, and technical tool development • Connect business processes and macroeconomic data to supply chain strategy • Leverage technology to extract financial insights and measure supply chain optimization • Build financial models and analytical tools for decision‑making, including scenario and what‑if analysis • Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team

What You Bring

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety, be able to lead and uphold safety policies, and meet minimum qualifications such as a relevant bachelor's degree, at least two years of data/financial analysis experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred qualifications include CPA eligibility, steel industry experience, and familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and Python. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field • Minimum two years of data/financial analysis, data management, and reporting experience • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, macros, pivot tables) • Strong communication and collaborative mindset • Proven problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities linking business needs to technical solutions • Innovative, strategic partnership approach with cross‑functional teams • CPA or CPA‑eligible • Experience in steel or scrap metal industry • Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Python
