About the Role

The Event Coordinator supports the management team and the Lifestyle Director to provide residents with a diverse range of activities, events, and fitness options. This role involves planning, coordinating, and implementing programs that respond to celebrations or specific topics while ensuring quality experiences through collaboration with community members, instructors, and site maintenance. The Coordinator also facilitates resident participation, sets up equipment, and manages space reservations. • Assist the Lifestyle Team in planning, coordinating, and executing resident programs and celebrations. • Collaborate with community members, instructors, and site maintenance to ensure high‑quality experiences. • Identify activity needs, schedule instructors, and confirm program timelines. • Lead and motivate residents to engage in daily scheduled activities. • Set up, rearrange, and break down room equipment according to resident requests. • Manage reservations for shared spaces among various groups. • Perform assigned administrative duties related to event coordination. • Maintain proficiency with MS Office Suite and basic IT equipment. • Lift and move furniture or items up to 50 lb. • Adjust schedule frequently to include afternoons, evenings, and weekends as required.

What You Bring

Candidates should have 1‑2 years of event or program planning experience, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail. Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and basic IT equipment is required, as is a high school diploma. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move up to 50 lb and to perform routine bending, standing, and climbing tasks. Work hours are Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility for afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and applicants must pass a background check and drug screen.
