Accounts Payable Administrator

About the Role
• Process full‑cycle accounts payable, handling high‑volume vendor invoices accurately and timely. • Monitor A/P due dates and issue payments within established pay cycles. • Void payments and invoices as needed. • Maintain strong relationships with internal divisions and external vendors, communicating payment status. • Reconcile and verify monthly vendor statements, promptly requesting and processing missing invoices. • Manage and reconcile monthly credit‑card usage. • Assist with the monthly closing of A/P modules. • Maintain vendor information and perform setup tasks. • Process year‑end 1099 forms for multiple entities.

What You Bring
The Accounts Payable Administrator will be a highly motivated, flexible, and organized teammate with experience in the Accounts Payable function. This role uses accounting skills to improve the A/P process while supporting the broader Accounting department. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree in business or a related field or two years of accounting experience. Preferred qualifications include five or more years of AP/accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, manufacturing accounting experience, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, and experience with streaming processes and implementing new procedures or software.
