The role is based in the Hunter and serves as the on‑ground presence supporting community members and landowners within one of Australia’s most significant infrastructure programmes. You will build meaningful relationships across the project footprint, collaborate with internal teams and contractors, and shape community outcomes that leave a positive legacy for future generations.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a confident community‑engagement professional with a proven track record on major construction or infrastructure projects. They excel at facilitating, negotiating and resolving conflicts, can manage resources and small field teams, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. • Demonstrated experience in community engagement for major construction or infrastructure projects • Proven experience leading on‑ground engagement activities and negotiating land access agreements • Strong facilitation, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills • Ability to manage resources, contractors or small field teams • Excellent verbal and written communication with high attention to detail • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently to sites
