Job Highlights
About the Role
Welders are responsible for safely MIG welding pre‑assembled structural steel products to meet the quality standards and specifications of the company's Quality Assurance Program and industry regulators. • Finish GMAW welding of assembled steel joists per shop order requirements. • Perform fit‑up and production GMAW operations on angle‑iron joist chords when splicing is required. • Interpret weld symbols and follow weld procedures. • Set welding machine to meet CWB and internal quality standards. • Use cutting torch or plasma torch as needed. • Operate overhead crane within its capacity. • Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly. • Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor. • Support the team to ensure success.

What You Bring
• Achieve CWB certification in GMAW (required). • Journeyman/Red Seal welder certification (asset). • Work safely in a high‑paced environment. • Hold a high school diploma. • Prior experience in the steel industry (asset).
