About the Role

As a Health, Safety and Security Manager you will support senior leadership in ensuring that health, safety, security and management standards are consistently met across development and delivery areas, both within HS2 and its supply chain. The role emphasises modelling the ‘Safe at Heart’ culture, providing operational assurance, and delivering services that help teams work safely and securely. • Model and embed the ‘Safe at Heart’ culture across development and delivery. • Support risk‑based health, safety and security operational assurance. • Assist senior manager in ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety and security policies. • Help investigate health, safety and security incidents in delivery areas. • Provide health, safety and security services to development and delivery teams. • Promote and embed Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in all work. • Analyse hidden problems using rigorous techniques. • Solve complex problems with logical, evidence‑based methods. • Produce and review technical, assurance and investigation reports. • Delivered assurance across major programmes or complex organisations with multiple stakeholders. • Contributed to investigation reviews.

Benefits

The position offers a base salary ranging from £41,092 to approximately £48,344 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. In addition, a fully pensionable flexible benefits fund of 15% of salary is paid on top of the base, alongside a suite of competitive benefits available on the company website.
