About the Role

Purpose: Manage complex construction projects from estimating to completion, fostering a positive customer service environment while maximizing profits for Nucor Rebar Fabrication. Safety is paramount; candidates must lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. • Review contract drawings and coordinate detailing for cost-effective delivery. • Manage full contract lifecycle, including detailing, scheduling, delivery, and cost control. • Ensure Nucor fulfills contractual obligations on assigned projects. • Coordinate requirements with contractors, rebar installers, engineers, and architects. • Schedule detailing and delivery with contractors, detailers, and production staff. • Evaluate project changes, verify scope, and process change order documentation. • Assist in change order process to achieve customer acceptance. • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff and customers. • Represent Nucor in project meetings. • Collaborate with Detailing Manager to control financial aspects and maintain customer relations. • Prepare reports on work progress, costs, and schedule. • Apply ACI codes and CRSI standards. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Typical office activities include walking, standing, bending, using computers, lifting equipment, with moderate noise level.

What You Bring

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. • Experience in construction project management or ten years in reinforcing steel sales, detailing, fabrication, or related fields. • Customer relations experience and dispute resolution. • Basic knowledge of contract law and business practices. • Effective leadership and coordination skills. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities. • Critical thinking and proficiency with relevant tools. • Required PPE: safety shoes, glasses, hard hat, gloves, hearing protection.
