About the Role

The Lead Maintenance Technician at Palomino Park is responsible for overseeing all building and grounds maintenance, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and proper operation of amenities such as pools, courts, fields, and common areas. The role also includes providing administrative support to the supervisor and acting as a backup when needed. • Perform inspections of interior and exterior building structures, glass, doors, and enclosures for damage or safety concerns. • Identify and address safety issues on common grounds, fence lines, and signage. • Maintain and repair pool area, pond, gazebo, gatehouse, clubhouse, tennis/pickleball courts, sports fields, streets, sidewalks, playground, sand pit, volleyball courts, and dog park. • Conduct routine upkeep of irrigation systems and pool equipment. • Assist the supervisor with administrative tasks such as gathering information for RFPs from concept to completion. • Serve as backup for the supervisor and direct reports when needed. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, electrical, plumbing, and local governmental safety requirements.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or obtain one by May 20, 2026; Palomino Park will cover exam costs, with repayment required if the employee departs within a year. Applicants should possess knowledge of general maintenance, electrical and plumbing codes, OSHA and local safety regulations, and be a team player with helpful irrigation and pool experience. • Obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification by May 20 2026, with costs covered by Palomino Park. • CAI (Community Association Industry) Course/Designation Assistance
