About the Role

The Project Engineer will lead end‑to‑end installation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance from kickoff to handover. They will enforce WWJSSS and ISO 9000 standards, act as the primary liaison with contractors, consultants, architects and site stakeholders, and coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, factory, supply chain, drafting and finance to deliver projects seamlessly. Key responsibilities include managing project budgets and cost reviews, presenting financial updates, negotiating variation works, verifying site dimensions, overseeing equipment logistics, appointing and supervising subcontractors and vendors, monitoring factory delivery schedules, handling project documentation and authority submissions, leading inspections, owning progress claims, and guiding the project team to maintain alignment and morale. • Lead end‑to‑end execution of installation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines. • Enforce WWJSSS and ISO 9000 compliance across all construction activities. • Serve as the main liaison between Otis, contractors, consultants, architects, and site stakeholders. • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (engineering, factory, supply chain, drafting, finance) for seamless delivery. • Manage project budgets, conduct cost reviews, and present financial updates to stakeholders. • Identify, negotiate, and complete variation works. • Verify site dimensions, manage equipment logistics, and align structural drawings with site conditions. • Appoint and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and third‑party partners to meet milestones. • Monitor factory delivery schedules and maintain project documentation (AMT, FTB, authority submissions). • Lead authority inspections and ensure regulatory and safety compliance. • Guide and support project team members and subcontractors, fostering alignment and morale.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering field and have at least five years of project engineering experience, preferably in the lift and escalator industry. They must possess strong knowledge of ISO practices and construction safety protocols, excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, with project planning tool experience considered a plus. A proactive, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment is essential.
