Physical Lab Tech

About the Role

The technician will operate the Roll Mill 1 laboratory, verify that products meet dimensional, surface, and mechanical specifications, and collect and measure samples throughout each shift to support production bar requirements. Additional duties include assisting the shipping department with sample collection, providing support to the Roll Mill 2 lab when needed, and accurately entering all test data into company software while upholding Nucor’s safety policies and housekeeping standards.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of quality‑inspection experience, with a preference for six months in a steel‑making or heavy‑industrial environment.
