Tasks

-Provide field surveillance and prepare daily detailed reports covering all pertinent factors affecting safety, cost and engineering considerations. -Participate in pre-construction conferences with government personnel. -Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. -Analyze design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements. -Deliver recommendations to government personnel regarding compliance with contract provisions. -Candidate will be responsible for site observation and reporting on multiple assigned projects to government personnel. -Candidate should be prepared to review and interpret plans and specifications, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, change orders and claims. -Candidate will provide construction inspection services on several simultaneous federal projects ranging in value up from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars in construction value.

What You Bring

-Army Corp of Engineering (USACE) or other federal project experience, preferred. -Extensive experience with electrical systems of all types preferred. -Engineering Degree, RCDD and/or Registered P.E. in Electrical Systems is a plus. -Emphasis is placed on knowledge and experience with, but not limited to, Industrial/Laboratory building electrical Systems (low voltage and high voltage), system controls, building automation, data centers, and other complex electrical-engineering related elements found in large and complex buildings and utility plants. -Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience. -Experience with large Federal Building Design, Medical Building Design and/or Construction Projects, or other similarly complex projects is desired. For this requirement, “Large” projects are defined as a construction value of at least $100 million or more. -Significant experience with low-voltage systems highly desirable. -Experience using RMS 3.0, preferred -Significant experience with low voltage systems preferred.
