Tasks
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-aligned value propositions for clients. Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, automation, software, AI/ML) to develop integrated, field-ready solutions. Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and craft end-to-end rail engineering solutions. Apply expertise in machine vision, optical inspection, and mechanical systems to design next-gen detection and analytics platforms. Stay ahead of emerging trends in rail technology, automation, and vision analytics. Conduct feasibility studies, prototype validation, and performance testing. Lead pre-sales and solutioning activities including RFP/RFI responses, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept development.

What You Bring
Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and customer success. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to connect technical depth with business impact. Experience working with railway rolling stock, track inspection, or safety systems. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering. We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer who brings together mechanical engineering expertise, machine vision know-how, and a passion for innovation. You’ll collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to conceptualize, design, and present cutting-edge rail solutions to customers across North America. Exposure to predictive maintenance, digital twin, or inspection automation. 5–10 years of experience in solutions engineering, design, or technical pre-sales, ideally within rail, industrial automation, or transportation domains. Hands-on experience with machine vision platforms Familiarity with AI/ML, image analytics, or computer vision frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of technology and customer engagement and turning challenges into actionable solutions that drive real impact. Strong foundation in mechanical systems design and integration.
