Tasks

-Assist with the leadership and development of project team members -Manage and maintain Expense Track -Support external audits by preparing schedules and/or answering auditors’ questions -Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes -Import jobs and codes into Vista/B2W -Assist with accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and payroll functions -Foster and maintain a safe work environment -Train professional and field staff in various ERP solutions -Prepare and analyze records and reports -Communicate with unions to determine wage rates and benefits -Perform account reconciliations -Prepare journal entries and job cost adjustments -Create and maintain T&M rates -Participate in special projects, team training and development -Assist with credit card administration -Assist in the development of financing strategies -Book monthly activity for related entities -Assist payroll when needed

What You Bring

-Or equivalent combination of education and experience that equals at least 4 years -Strong oral and written communication skills -Communication proficiency -Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or comparable Business Administration Certification programs -Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills -Construction industry preferred -Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment. -Working knowledge of MS Office and financial management software -Master’s Degree or CPA designation a plus -Viewpoint experience a plus -Teamwork orientation -Thorough knowledge of financial legislation, regulation and practices -Understanding of union work rules -1-2 years of experience -Proficient with financial software systems
