The Role

Overview

Direct regional EPC team, oversee finances, staffing, client relations, and project delivery.

Tasks

-Direct local safety and quality programs. Ensure work product compliance with all government regulations and company policies regarding these programs. -Manage seconded personnel contracts, budgets, accruals and invoicing -Frequent and consistent networking and business development with existing clients to maintain and identify new business opportunities. -Host periodic office wide updates to ensure team alignment. -Review and sign region purchase orders -Responsible for work in the region using local resources and utilizing other CEPC offices/resources -Maintain a work environment where employees can efficiently utilize their skills and knowledge, fulfill their responsibilities, and maximize their potential. -Develop a training plan for employees in the region. -Manage existing client relations, including contracts, projects, and opportunities. -Foster relationships with new regional clients and develop a Regional Strategy Plan / Business Development -Work closely with the other Regional Leads, Directors, Vice Presidents and Principals to leverage relationships and expertise -Work with the VP to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained. Participate in weekly staffing resource allocation meetings. -Lead a regional team in the execution of projects and programs for local clients. Team could consist of Engineering (Integrity, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Process), Design/Drafting, Project Management. -Report on Office/Group performance to VP. Prepare and disseminate periodic reports regarding the office activity and progress against stated goals. Address deviations from projections in a pro-active manner. -Lead local management team

What You Bring

-Excellent follow-up skills, organizational skills and time management skills are necessary. -Demonstrated ability to identify and creatively resolve problems in a team environment. -Minimum 8 years experience, with over 4+ years of utility related experience -Knowledge of energy markets and clients in Philadelphia area -Ability to elicit cooperation from internal resources and clients. -Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams required. -Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. -Registration as a Professional Engineer and PMP preferred -Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. -The ideal candidate must live within a reasonable distance to report a minimum of 3 days a week to our Philadelphia office. -Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands. -Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines. -Must maintain 75% billability -Public Speaking -Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Similar technical fields to be considered.
