Operate forklift, ensure safety, and support foam insulation panel production.

Tasks

-Maintain housekeeping standards, always keeping equipment and work areas clean and orderly. -Maintain communication to support a cohesive team and ensure quality product is being made. -Ensure department's continuous compliance with all policies, procedures, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). -Operate a forklift. -Use safe work practices including the use of eye, ear, respiratory and foot protection equipment as needed. Shows initiative in supporting plant-wide safety by following all safety procedures and policies and reporting hazardous conditions. -Complete production reporting. -Work as part of team; relieving and supporting other team members as needed.

What You Bring

-Forklift experience, certification preferred. -Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal). -The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold). -Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office). -Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications. -Valid driver’s license -General math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages) -The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively. -Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling) -Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. -The ability to stand for extended periods -The ability to reach or work above the shoulder -The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions. -The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
