Production Assembly B-Shift

Overview

Operates assembly equipment, rotates cells, packs product, ensures safety & quality.

Tasks

-Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment. -Rotates in other work cells as directed by Supervisor or Cell Leader. -Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. -Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, stakers, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders. -Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements. -Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. -Packs finished product for shipment.

What You Bring

-Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. -Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency. -Standing for sustained periods of time. -Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices. -Bending body downward and forward at the waist. -Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment. -Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
