Tasks

-Oversee Expense Track/company spending -Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes -Work with the Accounting Manager to manage and improve the current accounting systems -Foster and maintain a safe work environment -Help with and manage any other products or system accounting puts in place -Prepare journal entries and job cost adjustments -Assist with the leadership and development of project team members -Import jobs into Vista/B2W -Book monthly activity for related entities -Participate in special projects, team training and development -Work directly with field admin and project controllers to standardize and put in place best accounting practices -Perform account reconciliations -Become the subject matter expert for Viewpoint Vista, B2W, OnBase, and CorPay product suite that accounting department interacts -Support external audits by preparing schedules and/or answering auditors’ questions -Prepare and analyze records and reports

What You Bring

-Minimum two-four years of accounting experience -Working knowledge of MS Office and financial management software -Construction industry preferred -CCIFP Certification a plus -Thorough knowledge of financial legislation, regulation and practices -Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment. -Proficient with financial software systems -Master’s Degree or CPA designation a plus -Viewpoint experience a plus -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree -Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills -Strong oral and written communication skills -Teamwork orientation -Or equivalent combination of education and experience
