Tasks
-Oversee capital structure, project financing, and fundraising efforts (debt, equity, tax equity); manage banking and investor relationships. -Provide financial guidance to the CEO and leadership team on strategic decisions and investment priorities. -Manage, coach, and develop the Director of Finance and Accounting team. -Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks. -Lead the preparation of annual budgets, long-range forecasts, and scenario planning models. -Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning for acquisitions or divestitures. -Oversee all audit, tax, and compliance activities, serving as the primary financial liaison with Pattern Energy. -Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure financial alignment with project execution and development pipelines. -Ensure accurate financial reporting, audits, and compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and investor requirements. -Monitor performance against financial targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.

What You Bring
-MBA or CPA designation. -Systems: Proficiency with financial systems (ERP, forecasting tools) and advanced Excel skills. -Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years as CFO or senior finance executive in a project-based or capital-intensive industry. -Skills: Strong understanding of project finance, capital structuring, and M&A. Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning in a high-growth environment. -Compliance: Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. -Track record of fundraising and managing investor/stakeholder relations. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. -Familiarity with federal and state-level renewable energy incentives, tax equity structures, and intercompany transfer pricing. -Industry Experience: Proven experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or EPC sectors.
