Commissioning Agent - Mechanical

Overview

Manage MEP commissioning from design reviews to functional testing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Manage issue logs and coordinate completion with Cx Team. -Administer submittal reviews on systems to be Cx. -Attend construction/Cx meetings. -Coordinate general construction phase site visits. -Works with the Cx team to coordinate/manage PFC with contractors to get completed in a timely manner. -Execute seasonal testing if required. -Execute field reporting from site visits. -Execute functional performance testing with contractors. Utilize and train Commissioning Technician during functional performance testing. -Implement the FPT checklist with findings and issues that may have been discovered. -Track open issues from reporting. -Allocate commissioning pre-functional checklist (PFC) development. -Works with the commissioning (Cx) team to execute design reviews. -Works with the Cx team to development the functional performance test (FPT) scripts. -Works with the Cx team to develop the final commissioning reporting.

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for MEP. -Commissioning certification from one of the following - ACG, AEE, BCxA, BCxP -Associates degree -5+ years of experience in commissioning preferred -Excellent organizational, leadership, communications and analytical skills. -Ability to assist in training, coaching, and assist staff through the commissioning process.
