Tasks

-Drive Results: Lead business development efforts with Federal, state, and local agencies in the Southeast, including strategic partnerships with USACE Districts (Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, and Norfolk) and USACE Research and Development Center (ERDC). -Inspire Teams: Lead and mentor passionate professionals, cultivating a high-performing team ready to tackle complex challenges. -Ignite Growth: Build and expand Woolpert’s water resources, stormwater, and coastal engineering services while driving business opportunities in groundwater, water supply, and water master planning. -Elevate Impact: Represent Woolpert as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and client-centric engagements, while developing visionary solutions tailored to client needs.

What You Bring

-Results Orientation: Strong problem-solving skills, negotiation expertise, and the ability to drive projects to exceed client expectations. -Travel: Must be able to travel (25-50%) as required to meet the needs and demands of the Market. -Collaborative Mindset: Experience building and leading high-performing teams and driving consensus across stakeholders. -Innovative Leadership: A PE license (preferred), advanced technical expertise, and a proactive approach to leveraging new technologies. -Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proven success in business development and client relationship management, particularly with Southeast local and state agencies. -A Passion for Excellence: A BA/BS in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering/Science (MA/MS preferred) and 10–12+ years of related experience.
