The Role
Overview
Manage survey drafting in AutoCAD Civil 3D, produce plans and coordinate with teams.

Tasks
-Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field crews to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. -Stay current with geospatial technologies, CAD standards, and best practices. -Interpret field data and prepare topographic, ALTA, boundary, site development, and construction stakeout plans. -Create and manage COGO points, alignments, surfaces, and annotations. -Manage survey drafting projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D from start to finish. -Occasionally collect or review field data using GNSS or robotic total stations. -Mentor junior staff and enforce QA/QC processes.

What You Bring
-Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams. -Familiarity with Philadelphia surveying and one-call standards preferred. -Certifications such as CST Level II, SIT, or OSHA (Confined Space/Fall Protection) are preferred. -Apply knowledge of Philadelphia-specific drafting, surveying, and utility standards, including PWD requirements. -Detail-oriented, self-directed, and eager to learn new tools. -Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Geodesy, or a related field preferred. -Experience with ArcGIS, Google Earth, or LiDAR/3D scanning tools preferred . -Strong ability to apply CAD standards and drafting best practices to produce precise and consistent plans. -Experience working on Philadelphia-based infrastructure or utility projects preferred . -3–7 years of survey drafting experience, including at least 3 years with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
