Work closely with the estimating team.
Build constructive working relationships with the STEVENS Management Team, clients and strategic construction industry partners.
Work with the STEVENS Business Development Team and Operations Team to execute long-term sustainable business growth opportunities.
Conduct market research including monitoring of competitor activities, current and future business development opportunities, current and future client activities and other strategies as required to identify future projects that meet STEVENS’ core competencies.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations to build relationships and promote the company's capabilities
Analyze and develop business opportunities that are consistent with the STEVENS’ strategic business development plans.
The primary function of the Business Development Manager position is to develop long-term sustainable business opportunities in current and new markets by utilizing STEVENS’ business development strategies, marketing communication strategies, public relations, monitoring market activities and involvement in industry associations. This position should also maintain active, productive relationships with clients, strategic industry partners and the Cleveland Operations Team.
Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market share in the industrial construction sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Technical savvy of the industrial construction industry and STEVENS core competencies.
Must have the ability to develop an understanding of STEVENS’ target markets.
