- Support proposal and interview preparation efforts, to ensure the development of strategic, customized proposal responses, including understanding of the scope, plan, approach, past performance, and personnel.
- Identifying and recruiting project managers and key staff for key positions for design projects
- Be accountable for proposal budgets.
- Drive key customer interactions and engagement and hold assigned key client relationships at a senior level.
- Closely collaborate with Divisional leadership to maintain strong focus and ensure we deliver against business plans and strategies.
- Role model and champion the use of Mott MacDonald’s CAPTURE and WIN processes for new projects and pursuits.
- Developing account management plans and building pursuit pipelines focused on the identified key accounts.
- Closely collaborate with division leadership to maintain strong focus and ensure we deliver against business plans and strategies.
- Serving as the Bid Manager, Project Manager or Project Principal in proposals when needed to increase win probabilities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Georgia professional engineering (PE) registration
- Has experience delivering Municipal GEC and/or task work order services Contracts.
- Ability to work with CRM for account and opportunity tracking, pipeline health, resource planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Has experience delivering GDOT District Wide and/or Continuing Services Contracts.
- Available to utilize technical skills and resume to assist in positioning for and winning work with key clients.
- Has well-established GDOT and Municipal contacts within respective geography.
- Has Engineer of Record experience in a wide variety of Municipal design transportation projects, including Transit, local collector roadways, neighborhood streets, trails, and pedestrian mobility projects.
- Experience managing and designing conventional and design-build projects relating to intersections, arterials, interstates, and interchanges for GDOT and municipal clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and overall quality control and management
- Working knowledge of MicroStation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads Designer
- Experience working with large multi-discipline teams and will assist in growing Georgia Design team.
- Has Engineer of Record experience in a wide variety of GDOT design and design build / Alternate delivery highway projects, including Limited Access Highways, Tolled Expressways, Urban Arterial Reconstruction and Widenings, and Milling & Resurfacings.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in roadway/highway engineering
