Assist credit department with transactions, collections, and applications.

Tasks

-Performs account reconciliation by adjusting incorrect credit charges and grants extensions of credit on overdue accounts, per predetermined guidelines. Makes necessary adjustments to system to reflect receivables decisions. -Provides customer credit information or rating on request to businesses, credit agencies, or banks. -Keeps record of credit transactions, deposits, and payments. Collects past-due funds and accepts payment on accounts. -Processes credit applications for potential new customer accounts. Keeps record of applications for credit. Notifies customer of acceptance or rejection of credit applications. -Contacts credit bureaus, employers, and personal references to check credit and personal references. -Assists in establishing credit limit, considering such factors as applicant's assets, credit experience, and personal references, based on predetermined standards.
