Tasks

-Promote the integration of optical metrology with automated and precision manufacturing processes. -Conduct customized product demonstrations and presentations. -Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and engineering teams. -Support the full product lifecycle—from technical demonstrations and configuration to installation, optimization, and customer success. -Work closely with R&D, product management, and engineering on solution development. -Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting to ensure system performance and satisfaction. -Conduct data analysis, performance validation, and technical reporting. -Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical demonstrations. -Translate customer requirements into detailed technical configurations and proposals. -Develop and optimize measurement, metrology, and automation workflows. -Focus: Customer-facing technical role across pre-sales and post-sales activities, maintaining a strong interface between sales, engineering, and end-users. -Capture customer insights and feedback for continuous product improvement. -Deliver technical expertise during customer consultations and sales discussions. -Produce comprehensive documentation, reports, and best-practice guides. -Oversee system installations, commissioning, and user training worldwide.

What You Bring

Must have proven experience in metrology and optical systems engineering. -Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills. -Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic/international). -Proven understanding of precision manufacturing and system integration. -Strong hands-on familiarity with optical metrology systems, automation, and data-driven analysis. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. -5+ years’ experience in applications engineering, metrology, or precision optics.
