Tasks

-Develop real-time visualizations to monitor key metrics like utilization, cycle times, and productivity. -Reduced equipment idle time, fuel waste, and associated maintenance costs through early trend detection and operational efficiency improvements. -Collaborate closely with mine planners and geologists to align pit development and extraction sequences with actual production goals. -Integrate and analyze operational data from geology, mine planning, drilling and blasting, mobile equipment, and operations. -Ensure long-term mine planning alignment through developing pit supervisors -Enhance overall production by optimizing the material flow from the pit to increase plant capacities. -Drive a culture of continuous improvement by coaching front-line supervisors on data-driven decisions for best operational practices -Coach on using performance visualizations to proactively identify bottlenecks and uncover optimization opportunities. -Drive efficiency by reaching capacity goals to reduce labor hours -Reduce costs by focusing on current / future equipment utilization and planning -Establish a data-driven culture by empowering and training front-line supervisors, leading to improved engagement, accountability, and site-wide continuous improvement. -Balanced equipment utilization and production tasks to ensure full maximize ROI on heavy equipment. -Recommend operational improvements that significantly reduce idle time, fuel usage, and overall costs per ton. -Drive front end efficiencies by reaching capacity goals to reduce labor hours -Monitor and evaluate fleet performance to optimize mobile equipment utilization with plant capacity goals -Collaborate with blasting managers and blasters to analyze blast design and outcome data to ensure efficient fragmentation, reduce rehandling, and improve overall downstream processing efficiency. -Deliver immediate, real-time insight for data-driven decision-making that boosts productivity and prevents downtime.

What You Bring

-Must be able to coach others in an effective manner -Ability to lead without authority -Must have a keen attention to detail -Excellent communication skills- verbal and written -3+ years of experience in mining pit operations -Experience operating heavy equipment is a huge plus -Must work well in a team environment
