Support Quality reviews by peer checking Toro shop drawings developed by Drafters and identify and report mistakes. Send these to Drafting before starting MTO.
Identifies any post painting or perforated panels
Supports MTO Coordinators by entering information into internal program.
Implement supplemental instructions into Breakdown (if required and before windows are manufactured
Create RFI’s if changes are identified and raise these with the Project Management and Drafting teams
Communicates with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of service (Broad customer base).
Complete material takeoff and revise if required once the updated drawings have been received and distribute to purchasing
Utilizes IT equipment including Blue Beam, Autocad, Excel and Revit.
Confirms overall heights and electrical and mechanical locations with architectural/structural and shop drawings
Reports any known workplace hazards or violations of the Act to the supervisor.
Translate the information received and provide breakdown (orders to the shop).
Uploads PDF’s for Production and Quality Control/Installation Plans into PlanGrid
Responsible for obtaining and reviewing shop drawings in line with quality and specification standards and works closely with various stakeholders to ensure understanding of requirements and that materials are available and delivered in line with production schedules
Enters data into Winporte, check these and develop packages accordingly
Ensures all files are saved in accordance with departmental instructions.
Creates installation plans for the installers. Identifies location of windows, tagging each with a sequence number and once complete confirm window layouts
Works in compliance with the Health & Safety Act and regulations including using any equipment, protective devices or clothing required.
Provides detailed packages to customers setting out specifications and order requirements.
