Electrical Product Engineer - Power Equipment

Provide engineering support for medium/low voltage power distribution products.

Tasks

-Assist in the coordination and management of new product introduction schedules and activities, and cross-product issues throughout the product life cycle. -Provide engineering leadership throughout the product lifecycle. -Organize, prepare, finalize and maintain documentation for production and commercial use. -Focus on testing and qualifying new products and processes, supporting the transition of those products and processes into manufacturing -Collaborate with venders for product maintenance activities including product obsolescence and redesign. Coordinate action plans with internal teams to support product maintenance needs. -Collaborate with other internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, etc. to ensure Product Engineering activities are aligned.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated success collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. -Competency with medium voltage and/or low voltage switchgear products design and manufacturing, including knowledge of industry standards (UL 67, 891, 1558, 1008 and ANSI C37.20 and NEC/CEC). -Ability to be flexible with multi-tasking and changing priorities. -Primary point of contact (POC) and subject matter experts (SME) for medium and/or low voltage power distribution products. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel. -Ability to collaborate and work through ambiguity. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. -Highly effective written and verbal communication.
