Establish and implement a personal skill development plan with supervisor(s).
Perform errands that help with daily functions
Assist and be present for the Move-In and Move-Out Processes at the start and end of each semester and other periods as determined by the supervisor.
Customer Service – may assist the Director and Assistant Director(s) by returning calls and inquiries on their behalf
Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, ad collating, etc.
Foster an environment in which people’s rights and differences are respected.
Some evening and weekend hours are needed to cover university recruitment events. Advance notice will be given.
Serve as a positive role model by conducting yourself maturely and responsibly in the presence of residents, both within and away from The Towers, and abiding by the standards outlined in the CCNY Code of Conduct and The Towers Rules and Regulations, including The Towers Resident Handbook.
Attends various marketing events, including, but not limited to open houses throughout the CUNY or Non CUNY System, ‘tabling” and disseminating marketing materials (on and off campus), tours
Responsible for checking and responding to messages sent to Towers email account
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Collect payment and issue receipt of payment
Organizes and maintains resident files
Assists the Office Coordinator with office responsibilities as needed.
Work up to 20 hours per week between Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Receive prior approval from supervisor(s) for additional employment beyond the OA position (not to exceed ten hours per week).
Participate in individual meetings with supervisor(s).

Must attend a CUNY school for at least one complete semester at the start of the employment period.
Have a working knowledge of the terms and conditions for residential living.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Will have a maximum of twenty (20) office hours per week during the academic year
Must be a currently enrolled full-time student at CCNY (12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits) or a current Towers resident, enrolled in 12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits at a CUNY school.
Be in good financial and judicial standing with The Towers, as well as his/her academic institution, at the start of the employment period and maintain good financial and judicial standing throughout the employment period.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 at the time of application and maintain this minimum GPA during the entire employment period.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to operate basic office equipment including photocopier, fax, and telephone. Basic typing and computer skills.
