Tasks

-Assure process documentation is current -Assure tools and equipment are functioning as intended -Testing and troubleshooting of PCB’s -Maintaining material inventory control -Rework through hole and surface mount PCB assemblies -Recommend process improvement and cost reductions -Repair and testing of customer products -Testing of Electro-mechanical assemblies and products. -Provide testing support of engineering prototypes

What You Bring

-Through hole and surface mount PCB repair and rework skills -Ability to effectively communicate with team members. -Able to perform accurate and detail orientated work with minimal guidance -Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper extremities and back muscles. -Solder skills including surface mount assembly -Skilled in the use of a wide variety of electromechanical assembly hand tools -High school diploma or general education degree (GED). -Experienced in using and trouble-shooting automated test program (labView or similar) for PCBAs, Sub – assemblies testing. -Ability to focus, prioritize, multitask, cope with change -Must be able to work comfortably with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, Lab View, custom Test & calibration software along with production control and management software. -Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. -Self Starter and sense of urgency -Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. -Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine. -Able to read, follow and suggest improvements to production work instructions. -Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. -2 + years experience working in PCB assembly -Ability to read and follow engineering schematics and drawings -Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. -Training of technicians and assemblers on mastered processes -3 + years experience in electromechanical and / or electronic product assembly
