Monitor and report on workforce utilization, including overtime, shift coverage, and labor costs.
Utilize workforce management or scheduling software to streamline assignments and maintain accurate records.
Maintain strong communication with foremen and field leadership to resolve schedule changes and conflicts quickly.
Develop and manage a resource loaded schedule of all projects in the company portfolio.
Assign workers to projects in compliance with union rules, job classifications, certifications, and safety requirements.
Develop and manage daily/weekly manpower schedules for multiple job sites and shifts.
Track availability, certifications, training, and qualifications of all assigned workers.
Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to forecast labor needs and align manpower with project milestones.
Provide regular manpower reports to management on staffing levels, shortages, and scheduling trends and forecasts.
Support onboarding and orientation for reassigned workers to ensure smooth transitions between projects.
