Tasks

-Ensuring a spotless and efficient operation that guests don’t even notice — because everything just works -Conducting regular preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure brand standards and compliance with all codes and regulations -Collaborating with hotel leadership to plan and prioritize long-term facility upgrades and capital improvements -Leading and executing all maintenance operations across both hotels — including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems -Maintaining detailed logs and documentation of maintenance activity -Reviewing, approving, and managing parts, tools, and purchase orders to stay ahead of maintenance needs -Managing and mentoring an engineering team while promoting a strong safety-first, service-focused culture

What You Bring

-Familiarity with HVAC systems, electrical controls, plumbing, and preventative maintenance programs -High school diploma or GED required; formal training in building maintenance or trades preferred -HVAC and EPA Recovery Certifications are a big plus -Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in hotel or commercial facility maintenance -Hospitality experience is a must — you understand how your work supports the guest experience -Proven leadership experience in team management or departmental oversight -Someone flexible, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure — this is a 24/7 operation -Quickly and professionally responding to service requests, emergencies, and guest concerns
