What you would be doing

- Work with Lunar Failure Analysis team if further destructive analysis is needed
- Work closely with the team to ensure data integrity and accuracy of RMAs for internal analytics purposes
- Follow standard procedure from engineering to look at failure data and perform non-destructive Root Cause Analysis on returned Lunar products
- Help manage onsite inventory of returned parts with Failure Analysis team
- Maintain root cause database information with input from the Engineering team, propose modifications and help document on the ground observations.
- Create custom test stations to facilitate quick triaging and root cause analysis for various Lunar subsystems
- Use tools such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, thermal cameras…etc to perform diagnostic procedures

- Self-driven and proactive, with a focus on identifying and improving process inefficiencies.
- Physically able to lift and transport items weighing up to 25 kg
- Experience with diagnosing PCBA failures is a big plus
- Technical or engineering background preferred (e.g. associate degree in an engineering or technical discipline).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering teams at Lunar.
- Experience with electrical testing instruments such as digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes…etc is a big plus
