Protective Services Coordinator
Southern California Edison (Sce)
Electric utility company providing power to Southern California.
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and admin for protective services operations.
Ensures compliance with internal protocols, confidentiality expectations, and security guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of security and discretion.
Maintains and optimizes internal calendars and tracking tools to ensure alignment across security and executive schedules, improving overall efficiency.
Tracks and manages invoicing, purchase orders, and other administrative functions tied to PS operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with budgetary guidelines, policies and procedures.
Leads the planning and execution of logistics for protective services (PS) movements, events, and related security operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
Manages and optimizes scheduling support for PS-related functions, including briefings, scouting/advance work, and team deployments, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
Manages the documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping for executive travel and security activity, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
Monitors and follows up on outstanding tasks, deliverables, and support requests tied to PS efforts, ensuring timely completion and accountability.
Assists the PS senior manager, principal manager, and team leaders with overflow risk assessments, program updates, operational coordination, and ad hoc tasks, providing high-level support and insights.
This role will provide 24/7 on-call support as necessary.
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Valid first-aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
Proven ability as a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team.
Must possess a valid U.S. passport and CA driver's license.
Experience creating and utilizing SharePoint Sites and/or Dashboards.
Experience in a law enforcement, government or professional executive protection organization and/or role.
Experience with various scheduling software/programs.
Position may require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory and beyond as required.
Experience creating Power BI Dashboards.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate at all levels.
4 or more years of experience in logistical and administrative roles within a security function.
Possess analytic ability, creativity, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s Degree
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
Experience coordinating and administrating protective services teams.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Proven ability to maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, executive assistants, and the public.
Experience using Microsoft OneDrive.
Ability to and willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed.
Experience making high-stress decisions in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Benefits
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
