Estimate project costs by performing structural takeoffs and coordinating quotes.

Tasks

This position will work closely with engineers, project managers, sales team, production staff and customers to collect and analyze data to estimate the cost of a project. The Estimator must be detail oriented and possess high attention to detail along with excellent communication skills. -Organize, coordinate and track job quotes with sales team -Complete structural material takeoffs on Multi-Family Unit, Wood Framed Projects, for use in quotes and in production -Design department - to resolve hardware questions -Enter takeoff data and distribute estimates to customers (i.e., contractors) -Participate in weekly meetings to coordinate with design, purchasing and estimating to move projects forward and set priorities for shipments -Finance and Management - to solve customer’s material hardware take off discrepancies or additional requests, and continuously improve our processes and procedures -Salespeople - to timely deliver quotes and close jobs -Creating and updating spreadsheets, forms and reports
