2nd Shift Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

Overview

Inspect, maintain and repair heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Tasks

-Maintain a clean and orderly work area. -Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems and recommend repairs. -Establish a relationship with vendors and work with them in repairing the equipment. -Perform and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment. -Complete all related paperwork, including maintaining equipment logs. -Create and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and logs.

What You Bring

-Must work closely with Materials and Plant Managers. -Communication Proficiency -Problem Solving/Analysis -At least 2 years of equipment repair experience in a manufacturing environment. -High school diploma or GED equivalent. -Will be required to work both independently and within a team environment. -Familiarity with both manual and CNC machine tool installations. -Able to read and understand parts and service manuals to recommend repairs of equipment. -Experience with metal and copper fabrication equipment is a plus. -Time Management
