Tasks

The Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work is performed in accordance with the construction documents, regulatory permit requirements, and the Client's needs in the surrounding Rochester areas needed. -Provide on-site, full-time inspection of the contractor's work. -Record as-build revisions -Compile and document completion of punch lists. -Compile and document close out records. -Provide regular communication/interface with the Client Representative. -Coordinate the services of the Special Inspection and Testing Agency. -Prepare daily inspection reports and other field documentation as required for the proper maintenance of the project record. -Monitor the contractor's schedule.

What You Bring

-OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred -Willingness to work in all weather conditions. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Valid NYS Driver License with reliable transportation. -Minimum of 3- 5 years of Construction Inspection experience, or a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture and minimum 1-3 years of Construction Inspection experience. -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Travel within the Greater Rochester Area (1 Hour +/-).
