What you would be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and handover to delivery teams.
  • Work closely with internal engineering, projects, and compliance teams to tailor proposals and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property developers, builders, and consultants to identify and win new embedded network projects.
  • Track, forecast, and report on pipeline performance using CRM tools.
  • Stay current with AEMO, AER, and NER regulatory changes affecting embedded networks.
  • Educate customers on the financial, technical, and compliance benefits of embedded networks and on-site energy infrastructure.

  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality and ability to work autonomously.
  • Understanding of metering, network exemptions, and behind-the-meter systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Existing developer or property market relationships highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills.
  • Proven BDM or Account Management experience in energy, utilities, or related infrastructure (ideally embedded networks).
