Locate underground utilities for HDD projects, interpreting transmitter signals.

Tasks

-Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities; -Record the depth of the tool head as required; -Locate utilities with locating systems; -Handle physically demanding construction duties; -Assist as required in all locating aspects of the project as directed by the Drill Operator; -Perform job site analysis (JSA) including completion of paperwork;

What You Bring

-At least 1 year of experience as a Drill Locator; -Proven experience in underground utility construction; -Read, understand, and interpret engineering plans and specifications; -Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in extreme weather; -A valid, unrestricted CDL class A/B is preferred; -Ability to travel 80% of the time to different job sites within the market
