What you would be doing

  • Physically preparing products to be returned to a vendor and completing vendor claim and shipping paperwork.
  • Assist the inventory control department with physical inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies/ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage the entire returns process, documenting, and processing returned items.
  • Assist with maintaining and tracking the return process on a shared Excel spreadsheet.
  • Daily basis assisting clerical tasks for all outbound shipments
  • Conduct thorough inspections of returned products to determine their condition and eligibility for resale or disposal.
  • Update inventory records accurately to reflect returned items and ensure inventory levels are maintained through managing return reports.

  • Certification(s): Proficient in Excel, Word required
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Specialized skill(s): Ability to read English, some Spanish preferred
  • Prior experience: Admin Asst experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
