Tasks

In this role, you will provide engineering expertise and guidance to Project Directors, Project Managers & Directors of Construction, and will make sure that the project is technically sound, on schedule, and within cost. Qualified individuals will provide direction of the day-to-day operations of the division, implementing plans and policies to achieve overall corporate objectives, insuring profitability. -Develop, direct, and monitor short-term and long-range plans consistent with overall profit and growth objectives of the company. -Maintain positive financial posture for assigned division work segments and monitor cost analysis activities on a routine basis. May manage financial aspects of division’s work activities. -Plan, staff, and supervise all division activities including personnel administration, performance reviews, defining functions, responsibilities, power-to-act, and the like. -Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate positive relationships and communication. -Confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems, authorize divisional operational procedures, and approve all major estimates. -Establish and implement divisional policies, procedures, and organizational structure within the boundaries established by the management team and corporate policy. -Provide guidance and directions to subordinate managers in identifying potential clients and desired scope of projects. Maintain an effective business development program, securing profitable work on a routine basis.

What You Bring

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. -Excellent organizational, leadership, communications, and analytical skills a necessity. -Advanced knowledge of the construction industry and company operations required. -Extensive experience in the management of construction operating units. -Extensive knowledge of financial operations, marketing, estimating, and employee relations required. -Four-year degree plus three to five years of experience in an applicable field. -Extensive experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry, specifically Salty Snacks & Confections
