Tasks

-Work closely with the firmware team in designing control loops. -Undertake magnetic components design including inductors, transformers, and EMI filters. -Execute hardware design tasks such as MOSFET selection, sensing circuitry, schematic design, and layout. -Address challenges at scale to achieve industry-leading reliability and efficiency. -Utilize expertise with FPGA and microcontrollers, along with peripheral circuitry. -Delivery of multiple power converters to production, spanning from a few hundred watts to several hundred kW, collaborating within a team environment. -Collaborate with the mechanical team to conceptualize packaging and thermal management systems.

What You Bring

-Ph.D. in electrical engineering or at least 3 years of industry experience in power conversion with a master degree. -Strong skills in circuit simulation using spice, SIMPLIS, NL5, or equivalent. -Proven track record of designing and delivering high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electrical systems. -Apply experience in DFM and Worst-Case Analysis WCA. -Experience implementing real time hardware control using microcontrollers or FPGAs -Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and functions. -Strong skills in system control analysis using tools like MATLAB simulink or equivalent. -Experience designing high efficiency converters using high voltage SiC and/or GaN devices -Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, such as Altium Designer. -Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging abilities. -Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.
