Overview
Assist with traffic studies, data analysis, modeling, and reporting as a graduate engineer.

Tasks
-Collect, process, and analyze traffic data including volume counts, speed studies, and crash data. -Support the development of traffic models using tools such as Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM. -Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to support project delivery. -Assist in conducting traffic impact studies, signal warrant analyses, and corridor evaluations. -Prepare technical reports, figures, and presentations for clients and stakeholders. -Conduct field visits and site assessments as needed.

What You Bring
-Exposure to FDOT’s Traffic Engineering Manual (TEM) or Plans Preparation Manual (PPM) is a plus. -Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced consulting environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic GIS tools. -Engineer Intern (EI) certification required or in progress. -Internship or academic project experience involving FDOT standards or Florida-based transportation projects. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -2+ yrs experience with traffic engineering principles and software. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. -Ability to build strong relationships -Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
