Assist with 2D/3D CAD piping detailing, model maintenance, and coordination.

Tasks

-Assist the Piping group with any other written task as needed. -Work with the different groups to help create Process Documents, Written Standards, and other documents and spreadsheets. -Assist with 2D CAD tasks- Annotation, linetypes, plotting tasks, layer editing, and others. -Help with pipe routing -Assist with supports, anchors and seismic details. -Coordinate revisions and changes with piping field foreman -Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear -Assist with 3D CAD tasks- editing the 3D elevations of systems, XREFs of 3D models, maintenance of 3D models, editing intelligent text in our 3D models. -Assist with fabrication as instructed by Lead Mechanical Piping Detailer -Posting models onto client's FTP sites, maintaining logs, screenshots for RFIs, etc.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with HVAC mechanical piping systems (Heating and Cooling piping) -Familiar with different piping material (Welded, Grooved, Copper and Press-on) -Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds -AutoCAD proficiency -Revit knowledge is a plus -Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint -1-2 years CAD, design, drafting, engineering or construction experience. -Can read P&ID drawings -PDF Markup Programs (Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.) -Autodesk Certification is a plus but not required -Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl -High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related -Problem-Solver: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives. -Teamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner. -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as w6ll as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others -Proactivity / Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one’s level/position and with minimal supervision. -Frequently required to reach with hands and arms -Ability to take on additional responsibilities as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance -Insight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities. -Engagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus -Possess the ability to work well as part of a team and independently -experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail -Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals -Big Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations’ short- and long-term business strategy.
