Tasks
-Perform analysis of design, planning, and layout solutions that support project goals. -Maintain ongoing communication with clients, outside consultants, Project Manager, and Project Team to ensure a seamless project experience. -Gather and evaluate relevant data, and translate findings into actionable design decisions. -Provide architectural consultation from Schematic Design through permitting and Construction Administration, ensuring they meet established specifications and quality standards. -Direct and oversee the production of design and construction documents; ensure alignment with codes, budgets, and design intent. -Mentor staff and provide technical guidance to elevate their professional growth. -Take the lead on architectural assignments for moderate to complex residential projects, applying advanced design and technical skills.

This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Pleasanton, CA office. Are you a technically skilled, design-driven architect looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a Project Architect to join our Residential team in Pleasanton, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading project documentation, solving design challenges, and collaborating across teams to deliver thoughtful, high-quality low-density residential work including single family detached, townhouses, and condos. If you're ready to bring your experience to a firm that values design, professional growth, and high quality client relationships, we want to hear from you. -A self-motivated and reliable work ethic, with the ability to perform effectively both independently and within a team. -5+ years of experience -Licensed & registered Architect in the state of CA. -Strong knowledge of building codes and an ability to navigate and apply code constraints creatively. -High proficiency in Revit/BIM and SketchUp. -Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines. -Leadership skills that support and elevate early career professionals. -Deep experience supporting technical and design development for a wide range of project types—low density residential preferred. -Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead, collaborate, and build strong working relationships. -Completion of Bachelor’s in Architecture or Master’s in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program.

Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
