Tasks

-Programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) & Human Machine Interfaces (HMI’s) -Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings. -Deploying automatic power transfer schemes (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Tie-Gen-Main, Main-Gen-Tie-Gen-Main etc.), and generator paralleling switchgear controls applications. -Successfully complete and maintain compliance with the company’s safety program.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques to control circuits, logic controllers, and intelligent electronic devices (IEDs). -Working knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power management systems. -Minimum 5 years working with customer on a technical basis and deployment of automatic power transfer or paralleling switchgear controls projects -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics from an accredited institution. -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -At least 7 years of experience starting up PLC & Relays Based Automatic Transfer Schemes. -Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the work locations listed on this posting. No relocation is being offered for this position. Active-duty military members exempt from this geographical limitation. -Knowledge and understanding of best engineering practices for design and operation of automation systems, power management systems, human-machine interface software, PLC programming, etc. -Certified Training in Generator Control: Emergency Standby Systems, Prime Power, Co-Gen, Microgrid etc. -Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
