Tasks

-Design and fabricate test equipment for mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems. -Develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle powertrain technologies. -Perform component, system, and vehicle validation under dynamic and environmental conditions. -Analyze test data and write comprehensive test reports. -Work directly with design engineers to create design validation test plans. -Collaborate with design engineers to validate and refine models. -Investigate root causes of failures and contribute to product improvement.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in test setup, mechanical, and electrical engineering. -Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals including framing, pumps, heat exchangers, and wiring. -Working knowledge of heat transfer and thermal management. -2+ years of experience in physical testing and analysis of mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems. -Experience with CAD, preferably SolidWorks. -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a preference for a Mechanical degree. -Automotive component/system testing experience, including certification testing. -Python scripting or similar programming skills. -High voltage safety awareness. -Experience with data acquisition and analysis software such as Python or Matlab. -Experience in creating and executing design validation plans and test methods. -Expertise in designing test setups for mechanical and thermal performance testing. -Hands-on experience in designing and building test setups.
